A positive thing that I can say is that staff were paid full pay throughout furlough which was nice of the company. You don’t get no extra pay for working bank holidays and will be expected to work over the Christmas period. The William Hill customer service does a magnificent job at assisting their players. Reviews from William Hill employees about William Hill culture, salaries, benefits, work-life balance, management, job security, and more. The customers do keep you there as well as they’re people you will interact with everyday pretty much. If you have a good shop team then your work life will be a whole lot easier. It’s a job you get too comfortable with and you don’t won’t to leave for that reason. The William Hill group offers variety of opportunity to its staff, management were superb in handling its staff's concern, however, as I seek a greener pasture, I would like to extend my potential to look forward to a different company where it suits my needs and hard work.
Working at William Hill is one of those places where you will not progress at all. There is a lot of favouritism within the company, managers will treat staff very differently dependant on how they get along with you as a person. They seem to have anybody as a manager nowadays, people that have no clue with what they’re doing and they will try and force you to manage at some point whether you want to do it or not and as long as they pass you off to become a two plus that’s it. After working for William Hill for about two and a half years I can say that the job is fairly easy, it can be quite stressful at times depending on which shop you’re based at but the job is fairly easy and straightforward.
